Initial Setup Guide

Welcome to your new home! To get started with your internet service, here’s a step-by-step guide to setting up your account. This process is straightforward and will have you connected in no time.

1. Receive Activation Code

Upon signing your lease, your leasing manager will provide you with an activation code. Keep this handy as you will need it for setting up your internet service.

2. Connect to FiberStream Signup SSID

• Find Network: On your device, go to wireless networks and connect to the 'FiberStream Signup' SSID.

• Input Access Code: On the screen, locate the section that says “Have an Access Code”. Enter your code and activate your service.

3. Choose Your Plan

You will be presented with different plan options available at your property.

• Resident Included Plan: This basic package is included in your lease at no extra charge, suitable for everyday use with 3 to 10 devices.

• Upgrade Options: For heavy internet users, gamers, work-from-home professionals, or larger households, consider upgrading to a faster plan from the options provided.

4. Creating Your Account

• Select Plan and Create Account: After selecting your plan, proceed to create your account.

• Two Important Passwords:

  • Account Password: This is for accessing your primary account to check usage and devices.

  • Wireless Password: This is for connecting to the internet via the wireless network.

• Note Down Passwords: It's important to write these down for safekeeping.

• Billing Information: If you chose an upgraded plan, you would need to enter billing details.

• Bookmark Account Page: Once your account is set up, you'll be directed to your account page. Bookmark this for easy access.

5. Using the Network

• Connect to FiberStream Network: Choose from FiberStream 5GHz, 2.4GHz, or FSWifi for internet access.

  • Fiber Stream WiFi 5GHz: Ideal for most devices.

  • Fiber Stream WiFi 2.4GHz: For devices without 5GHz capability.

  • Fiber Stream WiFi: Dual-band option, automatically selects between 2.4 and 5GHz.

6. Adding Additional Devices

• Easy Addition: Connect the device to the appropriate SSID and log in with your Wi-Fi password to add it to your account.

• QR Code Option: For devices that can scan, use the QR code in your account for easy addition.

• Manual Addition: Enter the device's MAC address into your account. Assistance for finding the MAC address can be found here.

7. Final Settings

• Verify Auto Login: Ensure "Auto Login" is enabled in your wireless SSID settings.

• Disable Private MAC Address: Make sure the private MAC address feature is turned off.
